Let me explain

The idea is to expand on things I have posted to Twitter. And post totally unrelated pictures.

It’s weird; it feels like I’m writing this Tumblr page for just the four of you. This page isn’t really being advertised and no one seems to have been lured back by the reblog traps Bailey was kind enough to put out. Tumblr feels more like a profile page than an actual web page, and you don’t really expect someone to just stumble upon your Facebook profile and think “I kind of like this person, I think I’ll stick around”.

On the old internet, before “followers”, you had an idea of who might be looking at your site, but there was a stronger feeling that ANYONE could be looking at you site, like you were writing to the ether. Now I know who my audience is, I see the avatars.

I don’t have anything I really want to say here on the internet, nothing I need to get out. I just want to trade my light entertainment for your attention and acceptance. So Adam, Bailey, Erin, and Maura: would you like to see some more pictures that I’ve taken or some old internet pictures you might have missed the first time around? Excerpts of me having fun with my sister on Facebook? Did you like it before I got lazy when I was explaining Twitter entries? I haven’t done much to really justify having more people reading this, so for now it’s just us and that’s nice, but the idea of a small audience of strangers is weird.
