I’ve never chewed my fingernails, just a habit I never picked up. And with my slight germaphobia, it’s probably something I never will. But I’ve been playing the guitar a lot in the last few months, and noming my nails seems kind of appealing now that my nails need to little more maintenance. It would be nice to have perpetually rounded off fingers instead of having to go behind the house with clippers every few weeks to take care of business. I go out to the gravel behind the house so that I don’t have to clean up after myself, clippings flying everywhere and I don’t have to care.
