There were about eight glorious months between starting on Twitter and joining Favrd. Eight months of having no feedback or response to the things I was writing. It’s like that old art vs. commerce argument, where as soon as you’re not doing it for yourself, it’s compromised. Not saying that my tweets were exactly art, and I was trying to entertain my followers, but it was never enumerated. I am so attention starved that as much as I might want this, it’s maybe not a healthy thing for me to have. It’s like every unstared tweet is a joke you tell someone and they don’t laugh. And now I’m here on Tumbler with it’s hearts, judging harshly in their silence. And then I made an unnecessary Friends reference.
